  • Why Dab CBD?

CBD Isolate also contains less plant material, so you are inhaling more of the cannabidiol instantly as it absorbed into the bloodstream. A more potent, more direct way to get a CBD dose.

  • How To Dab CBD

To dab, your CBD wax, isolate or crumble you need a “dab rig” or dab pen. The hot surface within rig or pen vaporises the CBD; this is inhaled.

What is Dabbing CBD?

You may have heard of dabbing, or you may be completely unfamiliar with the term, “dabbing”. It is a more recent method of consumption of CBD. It’s the vaporisation of highly-concentrated CBD waxes and resins. Usually an excess of 90%. So, they are more potent than the CBD Oils or standard vape oils or CBD eLiquid. Unlike its close cousin (THC) CBD does not directly act on receptors in the brain; it does not get you high. It works by influencing receptors and neurotransmitters throughout the body. The immune system. The cell tissues. And the organ systems. It promotes general homeostasis and a wide range of health benefits.

Dabbing CBD. May Help When Regular CBD Oil Doesn’t.

The typical method of CBD consumption is by way of oil tincture. Administer sublingually by placing drops under the tongue and swallowing. Since hemp-derived CBD (i.e. cannabis that contains less than 0.2% THC) Most CBD oils come in a range of different strengths. But for some users, they may find that even the most potent products are not strong enough. These do not provide therapy for their requirements. Most CBD concentrates come from the hemp plant. Unlike THC, which exists in the flower buds of the marijuana plant, we find CBD throughout hemp. Including its leaves, flowers, and even stems.

Pure Extraction

To be made into a CBD-rich concentrate, raw hemp material needs to be ground up and processed. Typically its by way of butane extraction, to extract the natural, pure CBD resin. Once obtained, the CBD-rich resin is processed further, to remove any of the excess butane material. It leaves a concentrated CBD product. This is a thick n sticky more potent CBD “wax” that is ready to be vaporised on your dab rig or pen.

Can You Dab CBD Oil?

To be very very clear, you cannot dab CBD oil. The act of dabbing must involve a specifically-produced concentrate. As we mentioned, these CBD concentrates / extracts come in a variety of different forms, including CBD isolates, CBD waxes, and CBD crumbles

What Do I Dab?

Dabbing CBD is associated with the concentrated CBD Isolate. It’s extracted from the hemp plant and is an all-natural product refined down to an incredible purity. At Citrus Green CBD we have CBD dab ready products available at up to 99% pure. They are the most potent CBD products on the market. It’s a new trend that’s in town and is a cannabis compound that doesn’t get you “stoned” or “high. It is non-psychoactive and is beneficial to maintain and support excellent health. These are isolates, wax, & crumbles. By choosing the dab method to absorb your CBD it makes it easy to get your daily intake. As its pure isolate, you know what you’re getting and how much you are using.

Higher Potency. Quicker

Dabbing your CBD offers the opportunity to consume higher potency than CBD Oils. If you are taking CBD oil (like topical or edible) and experiencing great results, it may not be beneficial reasons for you to move to dabbing. But if you want to try something new. Or, would like an alternative to the oils or feel you need to up the dosage to gain more benefits. Shifting to dabbing or adding it to your usual daily intake may be for you.

Why You Should Be Dabbing CBD

CBD Isolate also contains less plant material. You are inhaling more of the cannabidiol and less combusted resin. When you dab CBD, the effects felt on the body are more rapid. Dabbing CBD means you feel it instantly. It absorbed into the bloodstream directly from the lungs with no interference. There is no delay as you get when it is taken orally and must go through the digestive system. When you inhale CBD through the dab, it provides you with the fastest form of relief. When inhaled, the cannabinoids are absorbed through the lungs and into the bloodstream. From there, they have quick access to the body. As time passes, a section of the CBD community has been adopting this method due to its effectiveness.

Dabbing Over Ingesting

Sublingual and oral CBD products like tinctures and capsules are very easy for us. Yet they suffer from low bioavailability. When swallowing an oil-based CBD capsule, only 5-10% of the molecule has a powerful effect. The rest of the dose is flushed from your body as waste. Once ingested, it can take up to 90 minutes for the CBD to take effect. It requires a user to consume higher amounts of the compound the desired active impact. When it comes to inhaling CBD, dabbing is a highly concentrated way to use the compound. Compared to vaporising, dabbing is simply a more potent, more direct way to get a dose.

Dabbing Downsides

While dabbing is efficient, that does not mean that it is free of downsides. Inhaling vaporised CBD is not as accessible as other more conventional means. It is not as easy as swallowing capsules or eating edibles. Also, the effects of inhaling cannabidiol vapour may only last for 2-3 hours. Taking the compound can last up to 7 hours.

How to Dab CBD

To dab your CBD wax, isolate or crumble you need a “dab rig” or dab pen. Dabbing is associated with the vaporisation of these CBD concentrates. Once applied to a hot surface within the rig or pen, can be inhaled. The first step to dabbing is to get your concentrate out. You’ll want to divide your dose out. Most CBD concentrates users find 1-2 rice grain-sized pieces of the concentrate is the average size for treatment. It produces a pure, smooth draw of the CBD that lets the user inhale more significant quantities of CBD at a time. You take in short, intense bursts of a smaller yet more concentrated form of CBD.

Pure. Instant. Relief

It means that dabbing CBD gives you a more enhanced absorption. You feel the effects far quicker. It also produces a more profound impact as the CBD is more concentrated. It also means there are fewer health risks associated with smoking any form of plant material. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and contact us, we will be happy to help.
